Welcome to the Alberta legal profession!

On behalf of the LESA team, welcome you to the profession. The Alberta legal community is comprised of dedicated individuals with diverse backgrounds, stories, and experiences. LESA serves the entire spectrum of Alberta’s lawyers, articling students, and legal support staff. We are proud to be Alberta’s leading source for continuing legal education and look forward to helping you achieve ongoing excellence in your practice.?

LESA develops innovative, future-focused education programs and resources. These are delivered across a variety of practice areas, and through a number of program formats and resource options, to ensure that our offerings are second to none.

Our in-person programs provide the opportunity to network with peers and experienced faculty members while immersing yourself in learning. Most of our in-person programs are livestreamed across the province, making it easy to engage in LESA programs wherever you reside. We also offer webinars (often over the lunch hour), and our extensive collection of on-demand programs allows you to watch and learn when it is convenient for you.

One of our most notable resources is the online LESA Library. This fully searchable resource provides subscribers with 24/7 access to quality resources by area of law, and is accessible from any laptop, tablet, or mobile device. Resources include LESA’s publications, program papers, and precedents.
