We give it to everyone without blinking or rolling our eyes.

The benefit of the doubt or our kindness.

Because we are good girls. We want to do things right, so we work hard and believe we will be rewarded for our efforts.

This is where the pin dropped.

The promotion? The opportunity didn’t come as we expected. In fact, we felt deceived, bereft, and angry.

The more we experience bias, discrimination, unfair treatment or someone taking credit for our ideas, this seed of anger transforms into a boiling volcano ready to erupt at the perfect time.

The result? Wherever you are, you assess your work environment and recognise the truth: no one backs up your career.

The onus is on you, and you have to take the bull by the horns, but where to start? Uncertainty is among us; AI is in our lives, and you must stand out from the competition and the noise.

Updating your CV, applying for jobs or using your network will not be enough.

The traditional way works, but the unconventional way works faster, and it starts with your personal development.

While working in corporate, I delved into the world of self-education, and my life was turned upside down ( in a fantastic way!).

Without knowing it, I gave back so much love to my Self that I became a new version of myself: authentic, aligned and unapologetic.

So, if you’re on the fence to throw the baby and the bath water, don’t.

Step back and dive into the personal development world, i.e. do the inner work.
