Don't let anyone take your sparkle....? it's yours ?

Weirding hurts, for the one who carries the torch gets burned

The flame is a bright beacon and bastion blazing for the beaten and bullied

But within the ill-intentioned, its light illuminates ire,

Jealous and jilted, they'll come to quench your fire.

? so burn bright ?

Fuel your heart, and bring the righteous reckoning,

For the fireless cannot win, nor dim what burns within.

Be brazen, shine that light,

Embrace your foes, let them ignite.

As the fireless undoubtably fail to steal your light, and instead flee.

Bring those behind you through the razed remnants and debris,

? and burn bright ?

Illuminate the darkness with your power and your pride,

And don't forget to say "thank you" for the bad time ??

Because in the end, the flame will burn the path clear,

Freeing your mind from the shackles of fear.

It takes courage to face our fears and push through them, but it's essential. It's how we grow and how we make ourselves better people and the world a better place.

When I wrote this piece I was struggling to resist the urge to make myself smaller or less than I am or compromise who I am or what I believe in because in that moment it definitely felt like it might be easier for me to do so.

I'm sharing I this as I hope it serves as a reminder to anyone who may be struggling, that they have the power within themselves to rise above and shine brightly, no matter what obstacles come their way. - Nick Bianchi ????♂?
