The Weight of It All

A friend recently joked about my obsession with kettlebell workouts.
She wanted to know if I was preparing for battle. In a way, I guess I was. My fascination with this exercise regimen took hold at the start of the pandemic in 2020 after canceling a gym membership. Almost four years later, I’m still sweating at home to online workout videos.
There’s something cathartic about swinging a cast-iron cannonball. You build muscle to cope with the weight of it all. That next project or hurdle. The latest news from next door or a world away. One more lunge, lift, swing or press and you feel strong enough to handle almost anything.
How do you build stamina to tackle your latest public relations and/or other challenges? I would love to hear all about it after I put away my kettlebell for the day.
