INC. 5000 Includes 10 Pet Companies

The INC. 5000 released its list of fastest-growing private U.S. businesses and wouldn’t you know it, a few pet brands made the cut. Among those included on the prestigious list were Maev, a human-grade raw dog food company, Farm Hounds, a natural dog treats, chews and meal topper company and SmarterPaw, a brand that specializes in catnip-infused products for cats and dogs. New Study Shows Pets Are Essential to Mental Health

New research from the Human Animal Bond Research Institute (HABRI) and Mental Health America (MHA)? found that pet owners overwhelmingly report positive health benefits resulting from their pets. The survey of 4,000 MHA constituents showed? 98% of respondents reported at least one health benefit, including reduced feelings of loneliness (73%).
