Accenture Federal Services has closed its purchase of Cognosante and launched a federal health portfolio to bring specialized mission platforms and services to customers to help them deliver better health outcomes. NASA has awarded four companies indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contracts worth $6 billion combined as part of the third on-ramp process to the fourth iteration of the Rapid Spacecraft Acquisition program. Nokia has closed its acquisition of Fenix Group in a transaction that expands its portfolio of tactical communications platforms for defense customers. Mike Loomis, president of Nokia Federal Solutions, said the completion of the acquisition marks a key step in advancing the company's U.S. strategy and growing its defense business.
