Let’s also celebrate the incredible achievements of our athletes at the recent Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris 2024:

• Niko Kappel achieved an outstanding milestone by winning the silver medal in the shot put at the 2024 Paralympic Games. His dedication and talent continue to inspire us all.
• Lea Sophie Friedrich won silver in the sprint at the Olympic track cycling competitions, finishing behind New Zealand's Ellesse Andrews. This is Friedrich's second medal at the Paris Games, having previously earned bronze in the team sprint with Emma Hinze and Pauline Grabosch.
• Jacob Schopf made his Olympic debut at Tokyo 2020, claiming silver in the K2 1000 alongside Max Hoff. At Paris 2024, he upgraded to a gold medal in the K2 500 with a different Max before adding the K4 title to his name.?
