On February 12, the Oil and Gas Climate Initiative (OGCI) launched a publicly available methane library to help oil and gas companies access information on technologies, tools, and strategies for reducing methane emissions and flaring. With over 150 resources, the library covers a full range of topics on methane abatement, drawing from various external sources, including international organizations such as the International Energy Agency (IEA), UNEP’s Oil & Gas Methane Partnership 2.0, the World Bank, and government agencies such as the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and Canada’s Environment and Natural Resources department.
