Instagram Rolls Out New Best Practices: Instagram has introduced a Best Practices section in the Professional Dashboard, making it easier for creators to get the most out of their content. The new section offers guidance on topics like content creation, engagement, and monetization, plus personalized tips so you can see how your account stacks up and where to focus your efforts.

Pinterest’s Collage Tool Gets a Refresh: Pinterest is upgrading its popular collages tool with two new features: Collage Remixing and Collage Sharing. The Remixing feature lets users collaborate by building on existing collages, while Sharing makes it simpler to download and post your creations as videos across other platforms. With a 418% increase in collages since the start of the year, Pinterest is doubling down on creativity to keep the momentum going.

Adam Mosseri Debunks Reel Myth: Editing your Reels in CapCut before posting to Instagram? Don’t sweat it. Adam Mosseri shared a reel last week letting creators know that editing your reels in a third party app won’t affect your reach. He did, however, caution creators that leaving the third-party watermark on your video will have a negative impact—so make sure to remove it before hitting publish!

Meta’s New Monetization Beta: Meta just rolled out a new Facebook Content Monetization beta, combining In-Stream Ads, Ads on Reels, and Performance Bonuses into one program. The idea is to streamline the process and open up more earning opportunities across Reels, long-form videos, photos, and text posts. Meta is already inviting a million creators to join, with plans to extend invites in the coming months. Open enrollment won’t be until 2025, but if you want a head start, you can let Meta know you’re interested in early access.
