KPIs

It used to take me 150+ total touch points (calls, messages, send outs, 1st interviews) to get anywhere close to generating 7 x 1st interviews.

This week, and fairly consistently lately I’ve been generating 5-7 x 1st interviews from around 80 touch points and my close rate (interview to placement) is much better.

Because after years of lots of activity (one might say I’m a slightly slow learner ??) I’ve finally learned how to work smarter, not harder.

- I’ve niched down and gained clarity on my ideal client and candidate.

- I say no to more things that don’t fit in my niche.

- I’m more effective on the phone, video calls and in person meetings/networking.

- I’ve become more effective digitally (capturing leads, SEO, message templates, content to lead capture.

- Most importantly and I think very underrated, I’m better at research.I’ve got a long way to go but I’m learning.

So look, if you don’t know what you don’t know or might not be the smartest most effective business mind but want to make some money in sales or agency recruitment, simply pick up the fkn phone and make calls!

Cause when you do that for a long time (for a long time my candidate and client call stats were more than triple the below) you’ll simply get better, and learn how to do less for more!If you learn by doing (like me) there’s gonna have to be a period in your life when you just do a lot!!
