Global Trends

September continues to mirror the summer-long trend in global bizjet activities, recording a nearly 5% decline compared to last year but maintaining 20% gains on 2019. The U.S., being the pivotal market, is exhibiting a 4% decrement from the previous year. The overall activity remains robust, mainly fueled by Fractional Fleets, compensating for the diminishing Corporate Flight activity and subsiding Charter demand.

North America

In North America, the business jet sectors are experiencing a 5.1% dip in the first 18 days of September compared to last year, although it is still 18.5% up on a comparable period in September 2019.

Europe

Europe is currently facing a broadening decline in bizjet activity in September 2023, with flights through the 18th down by 7% compared to last year but still up by 11% compared to 2019.

Asia

Business jet activity in Asia this month denotes a 30% ascent on September last year and a substantial 68% rise compared to September 2019, with the busiest airport in the region being Seletar in Singapore.

Middle East

With 3,899 bizjet sectors operating through the 18th, September’s activity in the Middle East is level with last year and has witnessed a 45% elevation compared to four years ago.
