This week's exercise for better sleep... Episode 2: bathroom breaths!

Anxiety and stress at bedtime can make it difficult to wind down and sleep.

Winding down doesn't necessarily come naturally, especially if we are long-term stressed. We can practice to wind down already during daytime, to make it easier to deal with stress and to fall asleep easier in the evening.

Deep mindful breaths can stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system and help the body and brain to wind down.

Try it! Close your eyes, take three slow, deep breaths. In through your nose, and out through your mouth.

How did that feel? Do you feel differently now compared to before?

So let me present to you this week's exercise: Bathroom breaths!

Time required: 30 seconds every time you go to the bathroom during the workday

Good luck!

Att kunna varva ner ?r en livsn?dv?ndig kunskap med alla intryck vi har idag, tycker jag. Smart att kombinera med toa. Ibland ?r toan en av f? platser med lugn i vissa milj?er. ??
