This Week’s Episode: Why Emotional Triggers Are Actually Good for You

I hope you're doing well and enjoying a cosy moment with a cup of coffee or tea. I'm so excited to catch up with you and share what’s coming up in this week's podcast episode—this one’s a bit close to my heart. We’re diving into something that’s easy to overlook but so powerful when we start to understand it: emotional triggers.?

Recap: The Power of Our Thoughts

Remember last week’s episode? We talked about how “Everything is working out for you,” a mindset shift that, when you really get into it, can change everything. We explored the idea that our thoughts have the power to shape our reality, to the point that believing things are working out actually helps them do so. Since that episode, I’ve been inspired to create a new subliminal that gently reprograms your mind toward positivity. It’s on my YouTube channel for free, and I can’t wait for you to try it.?

This Week’s Focus: Emotional Triggers as Hidden Allies

Today, I’m peeling back another layer on how the universe might be working in our favour. But this time, it’s not about our thoughts. This week, I’m talking about those intense, sometimes overwhelming emotions we feel in response to everyday situations—the triggers that stir up feelings of anxiety, frustration, or even shame.?

These moments can make us feel like we’re backpedalling emotionally, right? But here’s the twist: those very emotions, the ones that feel so disruptive, might actually be the universe’s way of helping us grow. Crazy, right? Find out how that works in this week's episode.

My Emotional Release Technique: A Path to Freedom

In the episode, I share a simple Emotional Release Technique that I use to let go of these old reactions. It’s a four-step process:

  1. Notice the trigger as it happens.
  2. Allow and Accept the emotion to surface.
  3. Express and Experience the emotion without judgment.
  4. Let Go and release it from your mind and body.

Trust me, this isn’t just another feel-good method. It’s something I’ve seen work in my own life. Each time I let go of a triggered reaction, I feel freer, more at peace. If you’d like to learn this technique in more detail, I’ll teach it at my Energy Academy. I’ll also include a free Emotional Release Meditation on my YouTube channel, which guides you through releasing your emotions in the moment.?

Remember, You’re Right Where You’re Meant to Be

I hope this episode gives you a fresh perspective on your emotions and helps you see that every triggered feeling is an opportunity to heal. Life might throw curveballs, but each one is a chance to get closer to that inner peace we’re all searching for.?

Thanks so much for being here, listening, and joining me on this journey. You’ve got this, and remember: you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be, even when it doesn’t feel like it.

Sending you so much love and support!

Talk soon, Linda
