Welcome to this week’s edition, let's deep dive into being a “Planner” in leadership, as well as a #Leaper that manages changes.
Effective leadership often requires excellent planning skills. A good planner not only sets clear, achievable goals but also anticipates potential challenges and devises strategies to overcome them. This involves a deep understanding of the mission and the small day-to-day issues that can impact the journey.
Here's a story: When our company decided to expand into new markets, the complexity of the task was daunting. A marketing leader mapped out each expansion phase, from market research to regulatory compliance and staffing. This detailed planning allowed us to anticipate and mitigate risks effectively, leading to a successful launch in these markets.
Here's why being a planner is vital:
Planning in leadership is not just about setting schedules; it’s about transforming a vision into a series of actionable steps. It’s a commitment to execute projects flawlessly and adapt to changes swiftly, leading to improved outcomes and increased success rates.

5 个月100%. Planning is a great practice. It's not about being rigid to the plan, it's about being clear on the objective and the path to achieve it, and being able to course correct along the way based on events and feedback. Without that planning mindset, it's very easy to drift along.
