Weekly A to Z, November 5th.

Weekly A to Z, November 5th.

What a week! On Monday night, I was over to Armani to try the current Ristorante* degustation (and braving some of the worst traffic to date). Plan to try the creamy, savory, umami-i porcini, our winning dish of the evening (and the bread was also amazing). #invited

On Tuesday, I was off to Bahrain! The Ritz-Carlton Bahrain rolled out the red carpet for a truly generous 2.5-day culinary experience. Champagne on a private sandbar? Yes (including sabrage by yours truly). A full autumnal feast al fresco? Also, yes. A much-needed massage? The property is running one of the best spas in the region. Dinner at La Table Krug by Y? Outstanding. Catch a view of the room/grounds here and our artistically themed meal here. If you’re looking for a quick getaway, Bahrain is an easy hour flight, and the property has plenty to keep you and your family relaxed for days. #invited

Coming to Bahrain, I had to try Chef Tala’s food in her kitchen and was flattered that she opened Fusions by Tala to do a lunch service for two of us — which was such a special and generous experience. Yes, there’s some coverage of that as well. Bahrain is privileged to have such a talented chef working to create culturally relevant dishes in a modern space. I highly encourage you to visit. #invited

And on Friday, I dialed into Dubai Eye for a quick chat with Helen!

Links, please.

This weekend? Puppy Ball and recovery (send carbs — no, really).

Next week? Busy (and feeling for PR friends with an event-packed week on every level). I’m sorting through invitations, but very curious about an upcoming speakeasy…
