Weekly Update (September 20)
Astronergy news this week:
1.??Highlights of Astronergy’s participation in Solar Week Nigeria
On September 12th, Victor Emmanuel, our Regional Manager of West Africa, was invited to speak at Solar Week Nigeria, introducing Astronergy's advanced technologies and our high-efficiency module products for the African market.
Astronergy has made significant strides across Africa for many years, with landmark projects like Benban 165.5MW Solar Park in Egypt. This project is a shining example of how solar power can fuel both economic growth and environmental progress, contributing to 20% of Egypt’s domestic energy consumption and creating over 8,000 jobs for the local community.
As Nigeria aims to increase renewable electricity to 23% by 2025 and 36% by 2030 through its Renewable Energy Master Plan (REMP), Astronergy is proud to support Nigeria's growing demand for renewable energy and drive energy transition in the country.

2. Successful conclusion of MPIA’s Solar Roadshow 2024 in Selangor
Congrats to Malaysian Photovoltaic Industry Association (MPIA) for the successful conclusion of the Solar Roadshow 2024 in Selangor! From January 16th to September 19th, Astronergy was proud to join MPIA for the tour across Malaysia and bring our innovative solar solutions to the local market.
At the final stop of the roadshow, Alfaldo Riski H., our Product Technical Manager APAC, introduced our ASTRO N7 and N7s n-type TOPCon modules, designed for utility-scale and distributed projects. Leveraging TOPCon 4.0 cell technology, rectangular wafers, SMBB, ZBB, light redirecting film, etc, these module products deliver increased efficiency, more energy yield, and less degradation for our clients.
As part of our presence in Malaysia, Astronergy supplied 15MW of our TOPCon PV modules for D&Y Textile Rooftop Solar project in Johor. This will help reduce 13,949.96 tons of carbon dioxide annually and save $1.52 million in electricity cost for D&Y Textile during the first year.
We look forward to further collaboration with MPIA and creating a greener tomorrow for Malaysia!?
