Astronergy Global Project Cases! ASTRO N5 n-type TOPCon PV Modules light up the rooftops in Pakistan!
Located in Lahore, Pakistan, Super Modern Cold Store Project is powered by 350kW of ASTRO N5 580W PV modules. Leveraging TOPCon 4.0 cell technology and other advanced technologies like light redirecting film, and SMBB, we optimize energy output and reliability.
This project is expected to generate 498,225 kWh of green electricity, helping Super Modern Cold Store reduce its environmental footprint and the overall operation cost. Stay tuned for more global projects!

PV market news this week:
The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the European Union are investing a combined $61.6 million in a 126 MW solar project in Uzbekistan. A special-purpose company fully owned by French developer Voltalia will develop the plant.
Bangladesh has unveiled a 10-year tax exemption package for renewable energy projects. The new tax breaks will apply to power plants that begin commercial operation between July 1, 2025 and June 30, 2030.
Three Gorges has revealed plans for a 16.5 GW renewable energy project in China’s Taklamakan Desert, which includes 8.5 GW of solar power, 4 GW of wind, 3.96 GW from six ultra-supercritical coal-fired units, and 5 GWh of electrochemical energy storage.
A trio of companies owned by DCC Group are teaming up on a support scheme to provide Irish businesses with capital to install rooftop and ground-mounted solar panels on their premises. The scheme aims to support 100 companies to install a total of 50 MW of solar over the next five years.
Estonian renewable energy company Sunly is building three solar parks in Latvia with a cumulative capacity of 225 MW. The projects are being developed as hybrid parks, combining solar with wind and cell energy storage.
Rooftop solar installations in Australia recorded a 6% jump in October, with the latest monthly data revealing that 279 MW of small-scale rooftop PV capacity was installed on household and business roofs across the country last month.
Colombia built 17 solar plants with a combined capacity of 103.9 MW in the third quarter of this year, according to new figures from the country's grid operator, XM Compa?ía de Expertos en Mercados.
India has installed 12.8 GW of new solar capacity from January to June 2024, according to Mercom India. This includes 11.7 GW of large-scale solar projects, with 3.7 GW of off-site commercial and industrial (C&I) projects, and more than 1.1 GW of rooftop PV installations.
The National Energy Regulator of South Africa has granted licenses for two solar projects to be operated by Eskom. Tenders for the construction of both projects, which have a combined capacity of 125.3 MW, took place earlier this year.
