1. Astronergy is recognized as TOP Brand PV 2023 by EUPD Research

On the first day of the Key Energy Show, Astronergy got the TOP Brand PV 2023 award from EUPD Research.

Recognizing Astronergy as a Top Brand 2023 for the German market in the PV module category, the seal was presented by Daniel Fuchs, Vice President of EUPD Research, to Isabella Ni, Global Marketing Director of Astronergy.

Germany became the first over-1GW shipment overseas market of Astronergy in 2022.?

Great performance of our #PV modules in Germany convinced local installers again in brand awareness, distribution and customers’ recommendation.

2. Shine in #BePOSITIVE 2023.

Astronergy team attended BePOSITIVE 2023 from March 21 to March 23.?

Astronergy's full range of TOPCon modules has been awarded carbon footprint certificates, and their high efficiency has been recognized by customers.?

From March 22 to March 24, Astronergy team attended the Key Energy show in Italy.

As the recommended PV products in Italy, ASTRO N series n-type TOPCon PV modules were introduced to visitors.

1.?China?installed 20.37 GW of PV in January-February period

China reached a cumulative installed PV capacity of 314 GW by the end of February, according to new figures from the National Energy Administration (NEA).

The NEW said that new PV installations China deployed 20.37 GW in the first two months of this year, up 88% increase year on year. About 8 GW of this capacity came from large-scale installations, with distributed generation PV systems accounting for the remainder.

2.?US?residential solar quotes hit average of $2.85 per watt

EnergySage, a residential solar and storage informational site, has released its semiannual market report. The report analyzes millions of transaction-level data points gathered from quotes sent to homeowners shopping on the website throughout 2022.

Quoted residential solar prices rose in 2022, climbing 6.7% from 2021 prices, when they reached a new bottom. The average price for solar quoted on EnergySage was $2.85 per watt in 2022.

3. Global study highlights potential of floating solar

An international group of researchers has calculated the potential for floating solar across the world. The results show a generation potential of 9,434 TWh per year across 114,555 global reservoirs, with 30% of their area covered. The United States leads with 1,911 TWh per year of potential, followed by China at 1,107 TWh per year and Brazil at 865 TWh per year.

4.?India?exempts some solar projects from domestic content requirements

India’s Ministry of New & Renewable Energy (MNRE) has exempted solar projects from domestic content requirements if they are commissioned by March 31, 2024. The move provides developers with the flexibility to source modules at more cost-competitive rates, according to the Indian rating agency ICRA.

5. Scientists achieve 24.83% efficiency with 2D/3D heterojunction perovskite PV cell

Researchers in China have built a perovskite solar cell with a 2D/3D heterojunction architecture. The device has an open-circuit voltage of 1.19 V, a short-circuit current of 25.21 mA cm?2, and a fill factor of 82.61%.
