Astronergy’s ASTRO N5 n-type TOPCon PV modules have received AAA certification from the China Quality Certification Center (CQC)! This AAA certification is part of the recent EPEC PV Module Quality Evaluation, which is organized and published by CQC. There are several rigorous tests involved, including module appearance, insulation, electroluminescence?testing, wet leakage testing, salt mist testing, damp heat testing, etc.
This recognition highlights the outstanding quality of our products and their exceptional reliability. Discover how Astronergy's advanced technology can provide benefits to ensure better performance, enhanced durability, and cost-effectiveness for our customers. https://lnkd.in/gGXniq6b
5.???Recap of Astronergy’s participation at SONEX with local distributor Gazania Solar Systems
We are excited to participate in SONEX together with our local distributor Gazania Solar Systems in Jordan!
Jordan has abundant solar resources, with an average of 300 days of sunshine annually, making it an ideal location for solar energy generation. The country went from zero investments in solar projects in 2013 to attracting more than $4 billion in investments in renewable energy projects by 2023. One of the key drivers of this growth is the development of large-scale solar projects in the country.
Astronergy's ASTRO N n-type TOPCon PV modules, with higher efficiency and higher reliability, can better meet the demand for utility-scale solar applications in the region. The bifacial rate of ASTRO N PV modules is up to 80%, ensuring higher power output than PERC modules. Under high-temperature environments, the operating temperature of ASTRO N n-type TOPCon PV modules is about 1.6℃ lower than PERC on average, achieving minimal heat loss as a result.
Jordan has made significant progress regarding renewable energy adoption in recent years and is expected to increase its solar energy capacity. By providing high-efficiency module products, Astronergy will support Jordan on its journey to a sustainable future!
6.??Highlights from Astronergy at Energyear Eastern Europe!
Ibrahim El-Said, Technical Manager EMEA at Astronergy, presented at Energyear Eastern Europe's 1st edition on June 6th. He highlighted Astronergy's dedication to technological advancements, especially in n-type TOPCon technology.
As a pioneer in n-type TOPCon PV modules, Astronergy is pushing innovation boundaries to upgrade the performance of our module products using self-developed TOPCon 4.0 cell technology.
One of the key advancements is the Laser Induced Firing (LIF) technology, which has revolutionized the manufacturing process. By utilizing laser-assisted sintering, we fuse metal paste onto the front side of silicon wafers, ensuring a strong connection without harming the passivation layer, thereby enhancing module efficiency.?In our laboratories, the highest cell efficiency has exceeded 27.06%, leading the way in the solar industry.
Powered by TOPCon 4.0 cell tech, Astronergy's n-type TOPCon PV modules will be showcased at Intersolar Europe 2024. Welcome to visit Astronergy at Booth A1.260 to explore more features and capabilities of our products!
7.??Highlights from Astronergy at Energyear Colombia
Juan Camilo Navarrete, our Regional Sales Director South America, had the opportunity to represent Astronergy at Energyear Colombia. During the event, he participated in a panel discussion on "Offerings and Innovations in Structures and Modules to Harness Colombia's Solar Potential." He focused on highlighting the innovative features and advantages of Astronergy's PV modules for projects in Colombia.
ASTRO N7 n-type TOPCon PV modules, powered by TOPCon 4.0 cell technology, offer a power output of 625W. By utilizing rectangular silicon wafers, ASTRO N7 can achieve a 15.6% increase in wafer area, thereby enhancing efficiency and reducing the cost per watt. With a larger module size of 2382 mm*1134 mm, ASTRO N7 will significantly improve the container ratio by 98%, resulting in lower system costs for customers.
A big thank you to everyone who joined us at Energyear Colombia! We are dedicated to accelerating the growth of Colombia’s solar market and contributing to the country's green growth plan in the long term.

9.??YOYO Talk-Solar Terms: Grain in Ear
Grain in Ear (Chinese: 芒种, or Mangzhong) indicates the maturation of crops and the promise of a rich harvest in the year. "Mang" refers to the "grain", but also means "being busy".?The weather?is becoming hot during this?period. Just like crops that thrive through varying weather conditions, Astronergy's ASTRO N series n-type TOPCon PV modules are designed to deliver exceptional performance and longevity for our clients.
With excellent weather resistance and product quality, ASTRO N series n-type TOPCon PV modules ensure that even after 30 years of steady output, the power will not drop below 87.4%. Compared to PERC modules, ASTRO N exhibits 1% lower first-year degradation and over 2.5% power attenuation throughout the module lifetime.
We believe that the remarkable resilience and long-lasting performance of Astronergy's PV modules make them better choices for projects in various conditions. Visit our website for more outstanding product features: www.astronergy.com.

PV market news this week:
France's DGEC, which is part of the Ministry of Ecology, Sustainable Development, has sent a letter to French renewables associations Enerplan and SER requesting their opinions on two measures to reduce public expenditures related to France's FIT scheme for rooftop solar, which is currently open to PV systems up to 500 kW in size.
Solar Energy Corp. of India (SECI) has kicked off 2.4 GW of renewables tenders, including a 1.2 GW procurement exercise and a 1.2 GW round.
Rabot Charge’s monthly analysis shows significantly more hours with negative prices on the German electricity market than in April. However, the average price in daily transactions was €6.72 ($7.32)/kWh – higher than that in the previous month.
The trade group attributed the recent decline in demand for rooftop PV systems to the government’s uncertainty over grid fees imposed by four energy suppliers – Budget Energie, Vattenfall, Eneco, and Engie – on residential PV system owners. A lack of a long-term strategy for the segment has also contributed to the drop in demand.
Azerbaijan has approved the construction of two new solar plants totaling 760 MW in the southeastern part of the country. Abu Dhabi Future Energy Co. (Masdar) will oversee the development of the projects.
Switzerland installed more than 602 MW of PV systems in the first months of 2024. This corresponds to market growth of more than 81%, according to provisional figures from government-run agency Pronovo.
