Greengage expands corporate sustainability services with acquisition of Responsible Futures

Greengage | B Corp? has taken a significant step forward in its commitment to enhance and expand its corporate sustainability offering with the acquisition of sustainability consultancy company, Responsible Futures.

As part of the deal, Responsible Futures , will be absorbed into the Greengage 360 Consulting division. Sam Cande , founder and CEO of Responsible Futures, joins Greengage as Consultancy Director leading Greengage’s 360 Consulting division, working with organisations to achieve their sustainability goals through expert guidance and support.

Andrew Perolls , CEO and Founder of Greengage Solutions, expressed his enthusiasm for Sam’s appointment:

Nottingham Venues’ Commitment to People Recognised with Award Win

Nottingham Venues scoops Commitment to People Development Award at the 2024 East Midlands Chamber (Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire) of Commerce Nottingham Business Awards

The quality of Nottingham Venues training, professional development and support for its 290 team members has been recognised at this years East Midlands Chamber of Commerce Nottingham Business Awards.

The judges acknowledged the widespread professional development and leadership programmes Nottingham Venues has established, along with its commitment to supporting the mental health and wellbeing of its staff.

Clarity’s sustainability event sparks new working group

A new working group dedicated to sustainability?will be?launched,?largely?made up of customers who?attended?Clarity’s?first?virtual?Environmental, Social & Governance?(ESG)Knowledge Exchange?in October.?

As a continuation of?their popular Knowledge Exchange calendar of?events, which?previously covered trending topics like?hotel programme RFPs?and rail, this was the first?virtual?event to?specialise?in?sustainability. It gave customers the opportunity to?take part in live polls?with their peers and learn from Clarity’s experts?as well as each other.?

Over?60 industry professionals?attended the virtual event, comprising?Travel?Managers alongside?Sustainability, Risk Management and CSR representatives?from?their?organisations for the first time.?There were?a mix of customers from?the?utilities,?retail?and academia?sectors,?each evidently on their own different sustainability journeys.

UK Events Report 2024 published: UK events industry generates ￡61.653 billion annually, demonstrating post-pandemic resilience.

UKEVENTS (Org) , the umbrella organisation of the UK’s events industry, is pleased to announce the findings of its anticipated UK Events Report 2024. The report, compiled by Great Potential Consultancy, highlights the industry’s critical role in the economy, generating ￡61.653 billion annually and affirming its resilience following the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Chris Skeith OBE , Chair of UKEVENTS, commented:

"The UK events industry has faced unprecedented challenges over the past few years, but what’s clear from this report is that we’ve not only recovered but are driving forward a growth agenda that will see our sector flourish in the years to come.
