Millennium Point wins gold for workplace wellbeing
Millennium Point Birmingham has been awarded the Thrive at Work Gold Award for workplace wellbeing. The award was presented by the West Midlands Combined Authority, whose Thrive scheme encourages organisations to focus on employee health and wellbeing. Millennium Point is the first Birmingham-based organisation to be awarded the Gold Award, highlighting its unwavering dedication to its team and customers.

The Bedfordshire hotel, conference and training centre has been nominated as Hospitality and Leisure Company of the Year in the highly reputed British HR Awards 2025. It is also a finalist in two categories?Innovative Product / Service and Meeting / Events Venue?of the renowned Greengage Sustainability Awards 2025.

Nottingham Venues collaborates with female brewing scientists to support Juno Women’s Aid
Nottingham Venues has celebrated International Women’s Day through a collaboration with The University of Nottingham and a group of female students studying Brewing Science.
The students have worked in partnership with local companies to create a visually striking pink beer to celebrate the achievements of women in the brewing industry and raise awareness about the challenges they continue to face.
The new ‘Viva La Frida’ beer is inspired by the vibrant creativity and works of the artist Frida Kahlo and was launched on International Women’s Day (March 8th). This initiative also aims to inspire women to consider brewing as a fulfilling and enjoyable career path.
Tom Waldron-Lynch FIH MI , CEO of Nottingham Venues comments: “This is a fantastic idea from the students, and we are delighted to support it through Nottingham Venues. When had a large conference happening when we launched the beer, and many guests were interested in trying it following the event and over the weekend. It has been selling well since so hopefully we will have raised a good amount of money for Juno.”???

Rainbow Trust provides vital emotional and practical support to families across England who are facing unimaginable challenges. With over 86,000 children living with life-threatening conditions, the charity pairs each family with an expert Family Support Worker who offers assistance to parents, carers, siblings, and grandparents, helping them navigate their daily struggles.

CHS Group has partnered with?beam, the association representing the business events, accommodation, and meetings industry, to ensure first-time visitors and industry newcomers feel welcomed and supported at CHS Leeds.
As part of the initiative, the?beam?Buddy Station will be positioned next to the registration desk at the Royal Armouries, the host venue for CHS Leeds. Members of the?beam?board will be on hand to offer guidance, introduce visitors to key exhibitors, answer questions, and help industry newcomers confidently navigate the event.
