2. Astronergy to offer 200MW TOPCon modules to Romania energy group
Contract on 200MW ASTRO N n-type TOPCon PV modules was signed between Astronergy and EXIMPROD GRUP – one of Romania's most competitive energy sector players, after the visit of EXIMPROD GRUP delegation to Astronergy Haining Manufacturing Base on April 6.
According to the contract signed between the two sides, 200MW TOPCon modules will be used in the construction of the group’s five solar projects in Romania. The first batch of the TOPCon PV modules will be shipped starting in June this year.
3. Astronergy Solar Partnerships Plan kicks off in Australia
On April 5, the first stop of Astronergy Solar Partnerships Plans was held in Melbourne, Australia, in cooperation with Raystech and SolarX.
With the aim to offer a chance for friends in PV industry to network with each other and promote Astronergy’s prospect for a greener world, the first-stop event has attracted many industry insiders in Melbourne. The next three stops of the plan in Australia will be in the following few weeks. Both houses of the Australian parliament have approved plans to establish an AUD 15 billion ($10 billion) national reconstruction fund to support domestic manufacturing in future industries and reduce the nation’s dependence on imports.

JMK Research says it expects India to install 14 GW of new utility-scale solar capacity and 2.8 GW of rooftop PV in the 12 months to Dec. 31, 2023.
5.?Pakistan?issues tender for 600 MW of PV
Pakistan's Alternative Energy Development Board (AEDB) has launched a tender to deploy 600 MW of PV capacity. It said the new solar projects will be built in the districts of Kot Addu and Muzaffargargh, Punjab province.
6.?South Korea?to allocate $185 million for renewables rebates in 2023
The South Korean government says its rebates for building-integrated PV (BIPV) systems have gone up from 13.4% to 15%, but its rebates for conventional rooftop PV systems have gone down from 50% to 47%.
7.?Switzerland?to scrap rebates for small residential PV systems from 2024
Switzerland says it wants to reduce its incentives for small PV systems to encourage larger projects that use all available rooftop surfaces.
8.?Greece’s Astypalaia island to build 3.5 MW of solar, 10 MWh battery system
Public Power Corp. (PPC), Greece’s state-owned utility, has won a tender to build a solar-plus-storage project on the Greek island of Astypalaia.
