As the battle between Florida and Disney escalates following Gov. Ron DeSantis signing the “Parental Rights in Education” bill into law, one Sunshine State lawmaker says Disney “stepped in quicksand and made a drastic unforced error.”

As?The Epoch Times?reported April 1, DeSantis floated the possibility at a March 31 press conference in Ponte Vedra Beach that lawmakers in the Sunshine State might repeal the?1967 Reedy Creek Improvement Act?in response to Disney’s ongoing opposition to the recently signed “Parental Rights in Education” law, dubbed by liberal opponents as the “Don’t Say Gay” bill. State Rep. Spencer Roach, a Republican,?revealed through social media?that lawmakers had already met twice to discuss the idea, saying “if Disney wants to embrace woke ideology, it seems fitting that they should be regulated by Orange County.”

3. Surgeons as ‘Executioners’: Chinese Doctors Committed Murder to Fuel Regime’s Organ Transplant Industry, Study Finds

Hundreds of Chinese doctors and other medical workers have been acting as “executioners” for the state to sustain the lucrative?organ transplant?industry, a study published in a top U.S. medical journal has found.

The?study, published in the American Journal of Transplantation on April 4, reviewed more than 120,000 Chinese-language publications on organ transplants and identified 71 papers where physicians had carved out hearts and lungs from people for transplants without first conducting a test to establish brain death—revealing that patients were killed for their organs.

4. Durham Asks Court to Compel Production From Clinton Campaign, DNC

Special counsel?John Durham’s team on April 6 asked a federal judge to force?Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign and two other parties to hand over documents they claim are protected by attorney–client privilege.

The campaign, the Democratic National Committee (DNC), and research and intelligence firm?Fusion GPS appear to be withholding documents that aren’t actually protected by the privilege, Durham’s team said in?the filing, entered in the case against ex-Clinton lawyer Michael Sussmann.

5. Friendly User’s Guide for the Timing of Nutritional Supplements

A 2021 survey indicates that 80% of Americans are using supplements — a drastic increase from the 52% reported in a 2012 JAMA report, a statistic that had remained stable since 1999. While at that time the use of multivitamins had decreased somewhat, from 37 to 31 percent, the new survey indicates that 75% of supplement users now use multivitamins. The use of vitamin D and omega-3 supplements have continued to rise through all these years as well.

In 2012 vitamin D use jumped from just over 5% to 19%, and fish oil supplements increased from just over 1% to 12%. In 2021, however, a whopping 52% of Americans were taking vitamin D, with zinc and vitamin C also being popular, at 22% and 40%, respectively.
