Accelerated Access Collaborative
Delivering the best health innovations to patients faster than ever.
Our mission is to get more patients access to game-changing medicines faster than ever and we want to ensure they reach those who need them most, reducing inequalities.
To achieve that, we work with our expert Accelerated Access Collaborative partners to identify innovative, high value, high impact medicines that tackle the most urgent health challenges, particular for under-served communities.
We also ?work with the national clinical NHS leads for inequalities and other programmes to determine their main barriers and main objectives for each of the five therapeutic areas for CORE20PLUS5. We want to look at how we can innovate entire pathways or therapeutic areas through NICE recommended and future pipeline products that will have a massive impact on individual patients and address inequalities.
We develop programmes to ensure NHS systems are fully prepared and able to roll out these products smoothly, more equitably, and faster than ever before.
