The Royal College of Physicians’ London events venue celebrates record-breaking June and 13% increase in events for first half of 2024
RCP London Events announces a record-breaking June 2024, with income surpassing last year's (also record-breaking) figures by 20%. This milestone is a highlight in what has been a remarkable first half of the year, marked by a 13% increase in events hosted between January and June compared to the same period in 2023.
Building on a successful 2023, where RCP London Events hosted 370 commercial events, the venue has already confirmed 231 events for 2024. This growth is reflected not only in the number of events but also in the surge of agent enquiries which have increased by an impressive 130%, while existing business enquiries have risen by 13%.
Some of the key events to take place at the venue in 2024 so far include the Change Partners’ International Women’s Day event and CRESTCon Europe 2024.

One Year On: Destination Emirates Old Trafford Celebrates Record Revenues
Emirates Old Trafford, Lancashire Cricket Club , the iconic Manchester-based cricket ground and home of Lancashire Cricket, is thrilled to announce a year of exceptional business success, one year on from the Hilton Garden Inn extension.
This follows the completion of a £75 million investment project, including a major extension of the on-site Hilton Garden Inn hotel and the launch of the Destination Emirates Old Trafford brand a year ago as the venue hosted an Ashes Test Match in July 2023. The transformation – which included a further 100 hotel bedrooms and a new restaurant and event space - has enhanced the venue's infrastructure and broadened its appeal.
The new brand positioning has further solidified its full experience offering in the marketplace, accelerating its rise as a world-class destination for cricket, conferences, events, hospitality experiences, and concerts. The venue recently hosted three sold out concerts at Emirates Old Trafford – each hosting 50,000 fans - with two nights of the Foo Fighters, followed by Green Day.?
Eventurous win Best Event Management at PA Show Supplier Awards 2024!
Corporate event management company, Eventurous Ltd start award season with a bang, as they are announced winners of the Best Event Management Award at the first PA Show Summer Summit Supplier Awards. Held at the HAC, London on 17th July, the inaugural awards saw Personal Assistants and Executive Assistants attend in the hundreds to celebrate excellence in the events and hospitality industry, and show appreciation for the suppliers who make event planning easier for them.

CHS Birmingham Announces Educational Theme for 2024
CHS Birmingham has announced the theme of its award-winning educational content which will this year focus on ‘How to be an Event Organiser’. Following on from the theme at CHS Leeds – ‘How to Organise an Event’, the content will continue both the show’s back-to-basics approach, but also its continued commitment to support growth for organisers, both professional and personal.?
The programme will move slightly away from the more practical sessions that were presented at CHS Leeds and look to how event organisers need to go about their work in 2024 and 2025. The approach will look at how to best safeguard the role of the event organiser, and how, in doing so, this will support better outcomes for delegates at events.?
