Millennium Point Brings the Party to Birmingham
Award-winning events venue Millennium Point Birmingham launched its Christmas season in style with a tour of Birmingham! Very early Christmas presents were delivered to lucky recipients across the city to celebrate Millennium Point’s Christmas Parties going on sale.
Alongside the return of the venue’s popular Exclusive Christmas Party Package, Millennium Point has announced the Ultimate 80s Christmas Party for 2024. Partygoers are invited to travel back to the time of mixed tapes and tinsel on 14 December. Millennium Point will be celebrating the best era of pop with a DJ and live band playing the decade’s best music from artists such as Duran Duran, Wham, Tiffany and A-ha.
The Eastside Rooms launches platform to enable 24/7 online conference bookings
In response to growing client demand, The Eastside Rooms has partnered with hospitality tech company Amadeus to implement their cutting-edge online booking platform, Delphi Direct, which delivers online conference room booking capabilities.
Delphi Direct integrates with the venue’s existing bookings management system and provides live access to its inventory. It allows customers to book smaller meeting rooms instantly, including essentials like room hire, teas & coffees, lunch, and simple AV.
The platform promises to be transformative for The Eastside Rooms as it continually evolves to meet the needs of its business events offering and clients.

Sandbox is a futuristic virtual reality experience where guests can see and physically interact with everyone inside a virtual world just like you do in reality. Conference Care Demonstrates Sustainability Credentials With Latest Certification Award

Artist calls for images to create giant People’s Picture at ExCeL
London’s largest exhibition and conference centre Excel London is calling on the events industry – including public visitors, organisers, exhibitors and suppliers – to share images they’ve taken in and around the venue for potential inclusion in a new permanent artwork.
London-based artist Helen Marshall, famous for creating giant mosaics made up of thousands of individual portraits, is inviting people to share their pictures – including selfies – inspired by their memories and connections to ExCeL London.?
The commission, entitled?Face to Face: Connecting Lives, will mark the opening of the venue’s new 25,000sqm expansion – which will see it become the largest integrated venue in Europe – as well as its 25th anniversary which it celebrates next year.
Between 4,000 and 5,000 images are needed to create the giant artwork, which will stand some six metres wide and be positioned in the venue’s atrium for visitors to see. People will also be able to submit a short explanation of their image to help inspire the artist.
