Hi friend!
As we embark on 2025, I've been reflecting on recent insights and setting intentions for the journey ahead.
This week, I delved into topics that resonate deeply with personal growth and actionable change.
Recent Daily Reflections:
These reflections have been instrumental in shaping my approach to the new year.
Books
This week, I revisited Mindset: The New Psychology of Success by Carol S. Dweck and last week As a Man Thinketh by James Allen.
From Mindset, a quote stood out:
"Believing that your qualities are fixed traits—that is, personality traits or intellectual abilities—can create an urgency to prove yourself over and over. On the other hand, the growth mindset is based on the belief that your basic qualities are things you can cultivate through effort."
Carol S. Dweck - Mindset
This aligns perfectly with our recent discussions on growth and action. My focus for the year is to read more books on self-improvement and leadership.
From As a Man Thinketh, a quote that resonated deeply:
"A man is literally what he thinks, his character being the complete sum of all his thoughts."
James Allen - As a Man Thinketh
This year, I want to explore more timeless classics filled with wisdom that transcends generations. I’m challenging myself to read at least one masterpiece each week.
If you have recommendations for must-read classics, let me know! What are your top book recommendations for 2025?
