Weekly Reflections

For me, Friday is the day to analyze the past week and prepare for the next. If I conclude that I have invested my time, money, and energy in building sincere, caring relationships, sharing with others, or seeking to better my community, then I feel happy and humble. It means that I have served God to the best of my abilities and have moved forward and upward on my spiritual journey.

Today, and in the week to come, I strive with God's grace and mercy to be less egocentric and less obsessed with my own desires. I pray for God's help on my journey and ask for the serenity and peace of mind to act decently, the courage to face challenges with grace, and the wisdom to understand that nothing is under my control except my own reactions and actions.
