??What's new at Grapevine this week?

Grapevine has had a strong and productive week this week from continuing to finalize our approach to a direct Google Drive integration where you can bring in your company's entire Google Drive directly into Grapevine streamlining how your organization can search, find, save, and share in the same place you communicate.

Imagine being able to simplify your current workflow of 3 to 5 tools for sharing updates, announcements, and key information. Right now you might use Notion, Slack, Email, and Google Drive or OneDrive. In my experience the process goes something like this:

Before Grapevine:

1. Create a documents in Google and copy the link or download the file.
2. Share the link or document in Slack.
3. Employees respond with an emoji but I never know if they actually viewed the document.
4. Employee opens the link or downloads the document.
5. A few weeks go by and the employees try finding the document in Slack with limited luck.
6. Employees then reach out to me to share the document again.

Results: Employees lose time and I'm interrupted in my deep work.

With Grapevine's Virtual Office Platform

Instead, Grapevine: Your Virtual Office Platform allows you to simplify the workflow:

1. Create a documents in Google while Google Drive updates via the sync in Grapevine.
2. Search in Grapevine for Document and share it in an Executive or Community Newsfeed Post.
3. Employees view the document and save it to their sidebar for easy access whenever they need it.

Results: Employees can self-serve easier and save time while other employees are able to have more deep work time with limited interrupted. Saving time and becoming more productive.

The Highlights from the Week at Grapevine: The Product Progress Report ??

As we finalize our Google Integration, we will prepare for the official launch of the updates to search capabilities along with the ability to integrate and find files directly in Grapevine. If we review the Roadmap, our next step will be bringing in the ability to create events directly in Grapevine via Google Calendar integrations.

Grapevine Events: The update to our Upcoming Company Events section in Grapevine will allow Admins to create events directly in the platform from Google Calendar - meaning you will be able to add a meeting using Google Meet or Zoom if you have Zoom integrated to Google Calendar. When an event is added, all employees will receive a notification to ensure they can prepare for the event.

Integrations: We are looking at 3rd Party tools currently that will help us significantly speed up our ability to integrate with other tools. One of the key aspects of our platform's value will come from the number of integrations we can bring directly into Grapevine. Our goal is to remain software agnostic to make it easier for organizations to be able to leverage Grapevine without needing to change drastically compared to other tools.

Grapevine Spaces: Possibly one of the things I'm personally most exited about is what we are calling Grapevine Spaces. Spaces will be where and how your create, manage, and organize knowledge materials aka Knowledge Management System. We will discuss more as we progress more.

These key improvements and developments will allows customers to use one tool instead of several tools to do specific aspects of business like communicate, manage knowledge and documents, and more. Therefore, instead of needing a chat software + a knowledge management system plus an intranet plus an employee experience platform, you'll be able to use Grapevine to do it all!
