Planned heavy maintenance of the Hywind Scotland turbines is currently ongoing at site and it will be possible to see ongoing activities from the seaside. We are inviting you to an exclusive boat trip to see some of the largest floating wind turbines with your own eyes.?
Along the way to Wergeland base, there will be a rich program of presentations, dialogue with Equinor's representatives and opportunity to mingle / get to know participants joining the tour.
The offshore wind collaboration between Norway and Greece grows stronger
Visit NOW engages members of Norwegian Offshore Wind and Greek stakeholders to drive forward offshore wind development in Greece.
Last week, Norwegian Offshore Wind (NOW) and Hellenic Wind Energy Association (ELETAEN) held a workshop in Athens to facilitate cooperation and promote partnerships between Greek and Norwegian companies in the offshore wind sector.
The event served as a platform to establish and nurture connections within the Greek market. Representatives from five NOW member companies attended as part of the Visit NOW.
Proactima heads up working group for HSE
Anne Mork, Consultant Business Management in Proactima, is the new working group leader for HSE in Norwegian Offshore Wind.
The mandate of the working group is mainly to be a meeting place for exchanging knowledge and experience around the thematic of HSE within Offshore Wind.
- In Proactima, we look forward to working with other members of the cluster to ensure safe operations in Norway’s new industrial adventure. The composition and diversity in the HSE working group fosters synergies and cross-sharing, including opportunities for value-creating collaborations between industry and academia. A strong safety culture and HSE framework tailored to address the specific risks and challenges of the offshore wind sector is essential for shaping its future, says Mork.

Our member?Greenov?is a French company dedicated to develop CleanTech solutions. The SubSea Quieter? system is a noise abatement technology which aims to impede the transmission of underwater noise from works operations in the marine environment.?
The SubSea Quieter system is based on a multi-layer membrane into which a fine particle of air is injected to create a barrier to the sound waves. In March 2024, a 10m long and 5m diameter demonstrator was successfully tested in maritime conditions in the Port of Saint-Nazaire (France).
