Jan Christian Vestre will discuss the export potential of floating wind, and the global political collaboration on the main stage. During Market Day, each of the most strategic markets right now will have its own “house” in the FWD Hub, close to the main stage.?

Opinion: Profitability is not a utopia?

It is not correct to talk about profitability in offshore wind as a utopia, when we in Norway have the very best conditions for scaling up the industry, writes our manager Arvid Nesse in this chronicle.

-When?Norges vassdrags- og energidirektorat?presented the results of the work to find new possible areas for offshore wind in Norway, director?Kjetil Lundemphasized that offshore wind, and especially floating offshore wind, is not profitable. Thus, ironically, he stole some of the focus from the very thorough and detailed work they themselves have done in pointing out great opportunities for this new industry,?writes Nesse.?
