Weekly Nugget: Trust the Process

“Trust the Process” is a saying we have an EOS?. We use this whenever we're somewhere in the process of implementing new tools with clients, and they come into that place where things feel unsettled, where things feel clunky, where you don't really think you're going forward, it feels more like you're stuck.?
We use it when people do their first Level 10 Meeting?. We tell them, it's going to feel uncomfortable, it's going to feel like you're stuck, it's going to feel not a great place to be, and clunky, and just keep going, and just trust the process and go forward.?When we do our planning, sometimes people feel like we cannot set rocks before we've addressed certain issues, and then I say to them, ”Just trust the process.”
Tens of thousands of companies have gone through this implementation process, and through the years we’ve seen what works, and what doesn’t work. We’ve seen that if you progressively work through these uncomfortable phases. This is what growth entails, for us to be stretched out of our comfort zones a ?little bit, all the time. ?You must remember that in a team effort, it's not the fastest moving person in the team that determines the process, ?it is more to do with the person coming last, the person who's slower to adapt, the person who needs encouragement to get out of their comfort zone, because we're a team and we need to move together.
So, whenever you are in a process somewhere, I always say, “Let's trust the process, and let's just try and be 5% better, 10% better, every time.” We do use the process of coming back to tools all the time, so that we revise the tools, we see where the gaps are and I'll teach what's needed for us to go through. But we all need to trust the process to get us there.

Don't overthink it, stay with the process and trust it. At the end of it you'll see that we've built this on the experience of thousands, and it’s the process that will get you to the end destination the soonest.
Have a great week!
Best Wishes,
