EASA certifies Pratt & Whitney-powered Airbus A321XLR for commercial operations
The Airbus A321XLR, powered by Pratt & Whitney GTF engines, has received its Type Certificate from the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), marking a major advancement in the aircraft’s readiness for commercial operations. Pratt & Whitney gets $1.5bn deal to upgrade F199 engines
Pratt & Whitney has been awarded a three-year contract worth up to $1.5 billion to support the F119 engines that power the U.S. Air Force’s F-22 Raptor fighter jets.
