JetBlue is facing significant operational setbacks due to prolonged maintenance timelines for its Pratt & Whitney (P&W) PW1100G geared turbofan (GTF) engines. In the airline’s latest filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the airline revealed that the essential engine inspections and repairs now require up to 360 days to complete, severely impacting the airline’s fleet availability and operations.
