Lufthansa Technik signs MRO contract for Frontier Airlines’ Airbus fleet

Lufthansa Technik has secured a significant five-year contract with ultra-low fare carrier Frontier Airlines, providing base maintenance services for their Airbus A320 aircraft family. Additionally, an agreement for digital aircraft diagnostic services through the AVIATAR platform has been established.?The contract entails approximately 300 aircraft maintenance events for Frontier Airlines in Puerto Rico over the next five years. RTX’s Pratt & Whitney to invest $40 million for West Palm Beach facility capacity boost

Pratt & Whitney, a business under RTX, has announced a significant $20 million investment to expand the maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) capacity of its West Palm Beach Engine Center for the Geared Turbofan (GTF) engine. This expansion aims to accommodate a 40% increase in capacity and is projected to be completed by the second half of 2025.
