Meta Improves Ad Attribution and Targeting Processes
Meta is updating its attribution and targeting processes for ad campaigns, aiming to better correlate Meta ads to conversions and use more data to optimize campaigns.
In the second half of this year, Meta will introduce a number of ad optimization and integration options that could significantly impact performance measurement.
Among the new features is a test called “Conversion Value Rules,” which will allow businesses to more precisely define the audiences or conversions they value and optimize their campaigns accordingly.
Additionally, Meta plans to more closely align its ad targeting system with businesses’ goals by integrating CRM data directly. These updates aim to increase the effectiveness of Meta ads and automate ad targeting processes.
Google Offers More Insight into Search Trends
Google has updated its “Trending Now” tool to provide insights into terms with significantly increased search volume. This updated tool can help with ad campaign and SEO planning by providing detailed information such as how long a topic has been trending, total search volume, etc.
Users can hover over terms in the list to see a quick trending graph or expand for more specific analysis. It’s also possible to filter trends by region and time.
According to Google, the tool is now available in 125 countries and search trends are updated every 10 minutes. This tool can be a valuable resource for tracking trends specific to your industry or region, and can be used as a useful reference point when planning your social media content.
X Offers Advanced Analytics Tools to Premium Subscribers
X has updated its Audience Insights tab for Premium users, adding new analytics features that include demographic information about the audience, such as age, gender, and country.
This new update comes with graphical formats that make the data more understandable. It also provides information that shows when users are active, so posting can be planned more effectively.
These advanced analytics tools are available only to X Premium subscribers. This move by X reflects X’s efforts to build a native platform that relies primarily on its own data rather than third-party apps. However, it remains uncertain whether these new tools and X’s future success will offset the impact of Elon Musk’s controversial posts on the platform.
