?? “The Superbowl of NFTs” started

NFT.NYC, one of the largest nonfungible token events, opened its doors for a fourth year, celebrating the diversity of NFTs across 16 sectors, including art, film, sports and ticketing.
From June 20 to 23 in New York City, the blockbuster event will serve as a global melting pot of everybody who's anybody in the NFT world, showcasing 1,500 speakers across panels, talks, fireside chats and hundreds of pop-up events.
With an emphasis on prioritizing the desires of the community over brands or corporations, the NFT.NYC team selected 221 emerging international artists from an application pool of 5,000 to display their work on a Times Square billboard.
Following the event, these artists will have the opportunity to mint their work at a price of their choosing and retain 75% of all revenue generated from the primary and subsequent sales.

So WTF are xNFTs?
Well, they’re just apps, but the story doesn’t end here.
X stands for eXecutable—tokenized code representing ownership rights over its execution.
Yes, they teased us for so long to finally launch at NFT.NYC, the news broke out via @armaniferrante twitter post, where he elaborated on what xNFTs actually are, and presented an xNFT operating system called Backpack.

?? New gas fees are coming to Solana
Solana has introduced a new fee-priority model designed to help reduce the risk impact on the system and make the network more efficient. The announcement was made on July 16 in a series of Twitter posts.
The new costing mechanism will play a critical role in reducing the risk of freezing and making the Solana network more stable.
