DAS Solar Hosts Delegation from the French IPVF for Technical Exchange

DAS Solar welcomed Professor Gérard Creuzet, a member of the French Academy of Engineering, Chairman of the Institut Photovolta?que d'?le-de-France (IPVF), a prominent physicist,and a winner of the Chinese Government Friendship Award, to its headquarter in Quzhou for an in-depth technical exchange on the development and cooperation of new PV technologies. The delegation included Pere Roca, Scientific Director of IPVF; Dr. Grégory Marque, IPVF Programs Director; Dr. Lars Oberbeck, IPVF Principal Investigator; and Professor Damien Fabrègue, Vice President of INSA Lyon, among other experts and scholars.

UK adds 1.2 GW of solar in 2024

New installed solar capacity additions totaled 1.2 GW?in 2024, according to the latest figures from the UK government’s Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ), bringing total recorded capacity to 17.6 GW. This represents a 7.5%?increase in solar capacity over the calendar year.
