DAS Solar Wins EqualOcean 2024 GoGlobal Emerging Brands Top 30 Award
The 2024 GoGlobal Forum of 100 hosted by EqualOcean was held in Shanghai, where the GoGlobal Top 100 List was released. Thanks to the strategic international expansion and exceptional brand influence, DAS Solar was honored with the GoGlobal Emerging Brands Top 30 Award. Initiated by EqualOcean as a new think tank for globalization, the list received over 500 applications and nominations. After a two-month process of initial selection, re-evaluation, and final review, 100 companies and institutions were selected.

EU Achieves Cleanest Power Mix in 2024
In 2024, the EU achieved the cleanest power generation mix ever, with higher levels of renewables leading to a 59%?cut in emissions compared to 1990 levels, according to Eurelectric.
2024 marked the lowest emissions from the EU power sector with a 13%?drop compared with 2023. Renewables contributed 48%?of the EU power generation mix, followed by nuclear at 24%?and fossil fuels at 28%, the lowest share ever.
Poland Reaches 29% Renewable Energy in 2024
Poland?reached a milestone in 2024, generating nearly 29%?of its electricity from renewable sources—a slight increase from the previous year's 26%. However, coal remains the backbone of the country's energy supply, providing close to 57%?of the total power, the highest share in the European Union.
In 2024, Poland produced 45.2?TWh of electricity from renewables. Onshore wind took the lead, contributing nearly 15%?of the country’s power, followed by solar energy, which supplied 11%. Smaller contributions came from biomass (1.5%) and hydropower (1.2%), showing the diversity of the renewable energy mix.
