Weekly News Round Up
Hello LinkedIn,
I trust you had a great weekend, as a dynamic business CJS Risk Management is always looking at how we can interact more with our client base and the industry as a whole so always endeavour to come up with new ideas on how to do this.
Follow this ideology, we have decided to begin providing our Weekly News Round Up through social media with the intention being to keep our clients, prospects, partners and colleagues up to date with the most relevant news in the industry.
We will provide news updates from multiple sources on the hot topics that affect you and the industry, giving a summary to you the community and offer our view on this where appropriate.
As an ongoing project that we hope to develop further, your feedback is both welcome and appreciated.
With that in mind, lets kick off the very first ever Weekly News Round Up from CJS Risk Management
Covid Business Interruption Pay-outs near £1bn
The FCA recently released figures on collected claims data showing £968m has been paid in interim and full claim payments to businesses that had been forced to close during the nationwide lockdowns.
This is very much a hot topic as many of our clients still have ongoing business interruption claims, however there is some peace of mind to be had for those clients given the above figures which follows the UK supreme Court ruling in favour of policyholders which took place earlier this year.
We will keep monitoring the data from the FCA to ensure you stay up to date with the latest figures being produced.
