1. Billions of mobility dollars ??
The California Air Resources Board announces $2.6B clean mobility plan, the "largest state investment yet" focused on sustainable mobility. The investment will be direct towards low-income communities and those disproportionately burdened by pollution. This initiative will cover help for cleaner trucks and buses, bike- and car-sharing, and fleets transitions to cleaner technologies.
2. The downfall of scooters in Paris ??
French politicians from several parties are calling on Paris mayor Anne Hidalgo to ban electric scooters from the city to reclaim pubic space and make the city more livable. If this ban goes through in the coming weeks, the operators Lime, Dott and Tier will leave at the end of their contract in 2023.
3. Shipping decarbonisation ??
The European Commission announced at COP27 an additional investment of €10 million for a project to reduce international shipping's greenhouse gas emissions. This funding is a part of the project launched in 2016 and will focus on portside energy efficiency measures.

Tesla recalled 30,000 Model X vehicles due to faulty airbag behavior that might deploy incorrectly in some situations. This issue concerns 2021 to 2023 cars manufactured for customers in the US. Tesla shares went down by 3% after the recall was published.
