This week has been another whirlwind of learning, exploration, and decision-making as I refine my journey as a solopreneur and digital marketing strategist. Here’s what I’ve been up to:
Focusing on My Buyer Persona
I’ve been digging deeper into understanding the solopreneurs I want to serve. Initially, I noticed a split between aspiring solopreneurs (those planning to start) and existing solopreneurs (those already running their businesses). However, I’ve come to realize that both are part of the same customer journey. Aspiring solopreneurs eventually become existing solopreneurs, and supporting them at every stage is critical to building a meaningful connection. This insight has helped me refine my messaging and offerings to ensure I’m addressing the full spectrum of their needs.
Launching the Digital Playbook for Solopreneurs
Since December 2024, I’ve been working on a lead generation playbook. After much iteration, I’ve tailored it specifically for solopreneurs and launched it as the Digital Playbook for Solopreneurs. The soft launch has been a tremendous learning experience. I’ve gained insights into product design, marketing, and how solopreneurs respond to digital products. I plan to document these lessons so others can learn from my experience when launching their own digital products.
Newsletter Launch and Experimentation
This newsletter has officially launched last week! Initially, I thought I could repurpose my LinkedIn newsletter content for my email subscribers. However, I realized that since I’m already posting the LinkedIn newsletter as part of my posts, the two formats may need differentiation. For now, I’m still exploring ways to streamline this process without overcomplicating my workflow. Balancing consistency and efficiency remains a priority as I continue this journey.

Big Steps vs. Small Steps
I had meaningful discussions with fellow entrepreneurs on some big projects. Inspired by Alex Hormozi’s advice, I’ve decided to focus on finishing the small things of my own first. Completing these tasks gives me momentum and confidence while building a foundation for bigger opportunities. It’s a reminder to take one step at a time and focus on what’s achievable in the short term, knowing that success is built gradually.
Exploring Digital Marketing Training Gigs
I’ve had several discussions about taking on digital marketing training gigs. One entrepreneur shared her struggles with balancing agency work and training commitments, highlighting the importance of clear priorities. Another, who’s very successful in this space, emphasized the value of planning well in advance. These conversations have me considering how training gigs could serve as a reliable "cash cow" while I continue building my ventures. It’s a decision I’m carefully weighing, as I need to balance steady income with long-term growth.
Exciting Consultancy Proposals
I’m also working on a few consultancy proposals, which is incredibly exciting! I’ve a few individuals who can handle execution, allowing me to focus on strategic planning for my clients. This collaboration feels promising, as it aligns with my strengths and frees up bandwidth to scale effectively. I’m optimistic about what’s ahead and look forward to seeing how these partnerships develop.
Final Thoughts
This week has been about refining priorities, learning from others, and taking actionable steps forward. Whether it’s better understanding my buyer persona, exploring training opportunities, or working on consultancy proposals, each decision is a step closer to building something meaningful and sustainable.
Thank you for following along on this journey. Your support keeps me accountable and motivated. Let’s see what the next week brings!
Until next time, Charles

1 个月Love this. Entrepreneurship really is about the small, consistent actions that build up over time. Big wins are just the result of a lot of tiny, intentional steps. Well done on the playbook launch!

1 个月On the point of shaping buyer persona, I’ve found the GA data of my website incredibly useful because I have been writing about personal finance for almost 10 years. I’d export the data and run it through ChatGPT to let it hypothesise and suggest buyer personas based on the data. That helped me shape 3 customer avatars for the RetireBy50 community with data-backed analysis.
