DOE to Provide $7M to Small, Medium-Sized Manufacturers for Energy Efficiency Improvements

The DOE will allocate more than $7.3M from the Industrial Assessment Centers (IAC) Implementation Grants program for 37 small-and medium-sized manufacturers across the U.S. to make energy efficient improvements that will save energy and strengthen the domestic manufacturing sector. The program is currently accepting applications and SMMs can still apply for grants throughout the next year.
Top States for Small-Scale Solar in the US
Despite a turbulent year for renewable energy, U.S. small-scale solar capacity surged to more than 44 GW in 2023, with residential solar — most often rooftop mounted — making up about two-thirds of this total.
