Gen Z founder pitches investors via Chatterbox ??
Chatterbox?is a platform that is popularly known as “Nextdoor” for Gen Z, where it?connects younger generations in their local communities through group chats.?“In our early stages, we’re targeting college campuses. We have three core features: user-generated chats, emergency chats, and permanent chats,” says?Chip Herndon,?CEO and co-founder of?Chatterbox.
Our view
Chatterbox now makes it simple for investors to network and connect with companies. We believe that, this will be the primary marketplace for entrepreneurs and investors, where the investors may hear from a variety of businesses and add those they are interested into their portfolios. In addition, the platform?plans to create permanent chat rooms for dorms, libraries, and other exclusive venues, which will help connect Gen Z with their niche communities seamlessly.
Twitter launches close friends feature ??
Twitter has launched the?Twitter Circle?feature, which?allows users to post a tweet with a selected group of people.?Users will be able to add up to 150 people to their circle. There will be a display of a green badge under tweets, which indicates close friends.
Our view
Instagram already has a “close friends” feature. We believe, that Twitter is trying to replicate similar features to retain users on the platform. Apart from this, users will be more comfortable sharing private tweets in their DMs rather than adding in the Twitter Circle. However, this feature can be used by?creators to highlight their superfans, create more intimate connections, or segment audiences into specific groups.

Meta partnered with Jio to launch grocery shopping ???
Meta is bringing the?grocery shopping experience?“JioMart”,?to WhatsApp by partnering with Reliance Retail and Jio Platforms.?Consumers in India will be able to shop for groceries via WhatsApp, add items to their cart, and even make payment via local payments, without leaving the instant messaging service.
Our view
There are more than?2 billion people?on WhatsApp. JioMart will definitely be a huge shift in the e-commerce industry. We believe that?Meta has partnered with Jio to connect with the largest Indian consumer, which is on WhatsApp. This is the first end-to-end platform in the world that puts grocery shopping at your fingertips. Reliance is working to unify all retailers and customers on one platform with JioMart, which will revolutionize how businesses interact with their customers and make purchasing more convenient for them.
