Increasingly, serious readers are preferring to move to a subscription-led model because amidst the noise, it is challenging and time-consuming to get meaningful content. We believe that ConsCent with its subscription services, will give users?access to exclusive content and also enable like-minded people to interact and network.?Apart from this, the platform helps media companies to monetize their content directly through its visitors with its analytics and engagement features.?

Facebook?news, which was launched in 2019 with the aim of providing curated news, is now?planning to build a robust creator economy news.?The company wants to evaluate its products to see if it is focused more on the success of creators who can identify their audience and build niche communities.

Our view

The global creator economy is expected to be between?$20 and $104 billion. We believe that Meta is now competing with TikTok in moving into the metaverse and enabling short-form video content for creators. Apart from this, Facebook is focusing more on rendering visual content and?rolling out new features to enhance audience engagement and build monetization tools for creators.
