3.????At Energy Week, AEMO CEO Daniel Westerman warns that the transition is progressing too slowly citing the lack of new financial commitments in Q1. The new interim CEO of the SECV states that “getting to 95 per cent renewables in Victoria will require a large uptick in build rates”. *Edited

4.????Three more ROLR notices have been issued for customers from QEnergy, Mojo Power and Sanctuary Energy.

5.????ERCOT made it through the last week without any reliability load shedding. However, over 400,000 customers were without power following severe storms. The heatwave is projected to last at least another week with demand projected to reach 85 GW.

Wow - I am surprised to see a FERC commissioner speaking out about concerns about reliability in a PJM - the market that most famously runs a separate market designed to ensure there is enough capacity to ensure reliability but for a 1 in 10 year event. What happened? It was only a matter of a few years ago when states within the interconnection were complaining that PJM was procuring far too much capacity?
