Digital Realty?purchased a majority stake in?Teraco Data Environments?as they continue to expand in Africa.

Stack Infrastructure?announced a 216MW data centre development in Ashburn, Virginia.

Aligned Energy confirmed they will now be known as Aligned Data Centers.

Keppel DC Reit acquired a 94000 sqft data centre in Bracknell, UK.

Khazna Data Centers?confirmed plans for two new facilities in Dubai, UAE.

Pulsant?acquired a Manchester based data centre from?M247.

Segro PLC?purchased 1 million sqft of office space in Slough that could be used for data centre developments.

Africa Data Centres?launched a 10MW facility in Lagos, Nigeria.

New Zealand investment company?Powerhouse Ventures has invested in Tasmanian Data Center company?Firmus.

DC BLOX?opened a new 25,000 sq ft data center in South Carolina, US.

Cordiant?Digital Infrastructure acquired US based?DataGryd Data Centres?and Polish based?Emitel?for a combined $551m.

Leading Edge Data Centres?received approval for an Edge data centre in Wagga Wagga, Australia.

China announced plans to develop four mega data centre clusters across the country.

Huawei?signed a partnership with Malaysian developer Hatten Land Limited?to develop data centres in the region.

Alibaba Group?announced it will be carbon neutral by 2030.

Not a bad week for the first week of the New Year. No doubt much more major news will flow over the coming weeks and months.
