Weekly CASual #34: the writer's opportunity

Weekly CASual #34: the writer's opportunity

Issue #034

Hey friends,

For today's story, I'm handing the mic to one of our all-star users, Chris Kirksey at Direction.com.

You HAVE to listen to his AI content adaption story.

??

Below it, there's a video of him saying every word in an interview with me. (So you know I'm not making this up. ?? )

Ready?!

......

Chris:

"I'm the CEO of Direction.com, a full-service SEO solutions provider for business owners.

At first, I'll admit I was hesitant to offer AI in my services...

I didn't know what my clients would think.

But over time, I began to see AI as something that was truly beneficial.

It's going to help clients: their business, save them money, and actually be a worthwhile solution.

So I decide to try it.

I pick up the phone, and I call one client – Chad.

"Hey Chad, what're your thoughts on this?

Say I have this great AI content platform [Content at Scale], it's writing amazing content. You ok with us using it?"

Chad, not missing a beat: "Let's do it, man."

Then, he said:

"I am not happy with the writers I'm using right now. The content strategy you did is incredible, Chris, but the content these writers are giving me is not really that good."

"Alright, Chad!" I said. "Let's give it a shot."

When I got this feedback from one client, I gave it to my team. I asked them to go out and ask our ENTIRE CLIENT BASE if they were happy with their writers.

Guess what we found?

100% of our clients WERE NOT happy with any of their writers.

??

100% of them were fine with us moving to AI.

I expected some kickback, none at all was surprising. But when I really sat back and thought about it – I knew we were approaching executives that had a fiduciary duty to optimize budgets and create efficiency. So, AI made total sense to them."

.............

Did Chris just rescue the content extension of his business by switching over to Content at Scale?

When 100% of all of his clients weren't happy with any of their writers?

Which he wouldn't even have known if he didn't make that brave & bold leap to switch over from human to AI?

My.

Goodness.

Today, Chris Kirksey's model includes AIO writers running the Content at Scale machine.

Writers aren't losing out – if they're adapting.

(Which Chris describes well in the video below.)

It's the ones stuck in the twilight zone, not adapting out of fear or snobbiness, that'll lose.

But the writers using AI? Like Chris said – they can charge more, do more in less time, and make WAY more profits.

It's the writer's opportunity.

Also, the agency's. And every business/marketer that would benefit from inbound content.

Direction.com is now offering "Human-powered AI writing services" in every single client proposal.

??

A Capterra study showed that 82% of marketers believe that AI is just as good, if not better than, human writers.

And I can tell you, we're beyond that.

They're EMBRACING it.

I've been in the room with a ton of entrepreneurs this week.

DigitalMarketer's M3 mastermind with Mark de Grasse , Scott Cunningham and a bunch of others...

An amazing networking breakfast in Austin with Lisa Bebee , and our new Product Manager Diana Richardson ...

And you know what?

I heard this from almost everyone:

They're running to AI with open arms. Replacing 5+ hours of human work per DAY with it. Integrating it not just into writing... but customer, HR, financial processes and departments. Making more money. Getting more time freedom. And having a blast.

Are you on board the AI train?

Don't get left out.

Adapt now.

That video with Chris Kirksey

So you know I'm not BS'ing you...

Yes, he said it all on camera.

Video proof:

We also interviewed him for thoughts on our new Topic Cluster & Keyword Research feature - he and his team are using it. Watch that video, too.

Highlighting another user: Jessica Campos ?? Attorney-Turned-Demand-Gen-Marketer

I had the chance to sit down with Jessica Campos, entrepreneur extraordinare with a local office in Leander, Texas. She runs Marketing for Greatness.

Before Content at Scale, Jessica would spend hours, days, and weeks on her content creation for the blog and to build up her SEO presence. English is not her native tongue, so writing a long-form SEO blog took her incredible amounts of time.

Now, she's done in just a few hours. Content at Scale gives her the entire content draft, formatting, SEO research, meta description, everything written and done – and she just edits and optimizes. What took days and weeks now takes hours. Listen to Jessica explain the process:

Major new updates to Content at Scale live this week

Did you hear?!

This week, we released a couple game-changing features to help your content drive more traffic:

  • Content quality updates
  • Keyword Insights (fine-tuned and improved the topic clustering ?? )
  • NLP optimization

Justin McGill is sharing a story about how one of these features actually helped us win back nearly 200,000 unique visitors per month. ??

AI in the news

I must confess something.

The list below was not written by me.

Combined with AI, she's ridiculously good at compiling the latest and greatest in AI news.
