'This Week'...Labor Day Edition
Greetings!
I hope everyone had a great holiday weekend!
QUOTE OF THE WEEK!
SOME LEADERSHIP!
Well, Football starts this week, so it's time for my first Patriots related leadership reference of the year! :)
Those that know me, also know I am a pretty obnoxious Patriots fan. People love to hate the Patriots! But it's hard to deny the historic two decades of success they have enjoyed. A lot of that was due to the synergy between Ownership, Leader, and Players (or in our world - Ownership, Corporate, GM/Team). Like him or hate him, Bill Belichick is arguably one of the best coaches in NFL history and there is some value in looking at what makes him a great leader.
Take a look at the attached article about what he says are five of his rules for exceptional leadership.
Also, let's have some interaction - feel free to comment on my Linked In Post - what are some of your rules for exceptional leadership? What do you think makes for a great leader?
SOME EXECUTION!
A great message in this brief article by an amazing thought provoking leader, Brene Brown. Failure can become our most powerful path to learning if we're willing to choose courage over comfort.
SOME INSPIRATION!
Yes You Can!
So many great messages in this short and inspiring video - Never give up, don’t tell someone they can’t do something and restrict their limitations, be supportive, etc…!
Take a look at this video on perseverance and inspiration from one of the smallest champions
