WEEKEND THOUGHTS

Good intentions require good logistics.
We all have things that we want to do that never seem to get done. We all do it to some degree. Why is that? Are we just dreamers? Maybe we take on too much at one time or don’t focus on things long enough.
Maybe life is a bit like war. There’s a military principle that goes something like, tactics win battles but logistics wins wars. Life can be like that. We have many distractions throughout the day that take us off track or interrupt our thoughts and actions. Priorities change. Unexpected obstacles appear out of the blue. Every good plan has a backup, and our intentions are no exception. If we truly intend to do something, we need to start by asking what might get in the way and plan for it.
What are your intentions for today? If it’s grocery shopping, you probably have been making a list all week. That’s a tactic. Logistics would be storing up a little extra in case the grocery store doesn’t have what you need or is closed.
May you always think logistically.
